Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This website uses technical cookies and local storage needed for it to work and, only with your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies to measure visits. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
Technical cookies
Technical cookies do not require your consent under Italian and EU law. They may be set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance purposes.
Measuring visits
To understand how many people visit the website and which pages are useful, we use cookieless measurement tools. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate form, without setting cookies and without recognising individual visitors. On the Hidden Sherlock AI page we also use our own anonymous counter, which records only in aggregate form how many steps are completed (for example “opened the page” or “saw the result”) and which kind of channel people arrive from, with no cookies, no IP address and no personal data. These tools do not require your consent.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you press “Accept” in the banner, we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to learn which pages are visited, for how long and from which channel people arrive, and how the site is used (how far a page is scrolled, which buttons are tapped, whether the contact form is sent). We never record names, emails or message text. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_JGTMK0T2NN cookies, which last up to 2 years. We have switched off advertising uses (advertising signals and ad personalisation). Google may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). Before you choose, and if you press “Reject” or close the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from this website.
Microsoft Clarity (only with your consent)
If you press “Accept” in the banner, we also load Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, to understand how the site is used: heatmaps (where people click and how far they scroll) and anonymous recordings of visits. The content of form fields is never recorded: it is always hidden. Clarity sets the _clck (random identifier, 1 year) and _clsk (session, 1 day) cookies and, through Microsoft domains, may set other technical cookies (CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM). We do not use Clarity for advertising and we have denied the advertising use of cookies. Recordings are kept by Microsoft for 30 days (up to 9 months for those we save as favourites). Microsoft may process data outside the European Union, under standard contractual clauses. Before your choice, and if you press “Reject” or close the banner, Clarity is not loaded. To learn how Microsoft handles data, read the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can change your mind at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, so the banner does not reappear on every page. Your choice lasts 12 months, then we ask again.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may affect the correct functioning of the website.
